All About Elliot
"My Elliot print was one of my first flower paintings I created in my current, wonky style.
I was still exploring this new-found artistic style, and painting incessantly as I was 40 weeks pregnant, with our daughter to arrive any day. I was walking as much as I could around the neighbourhood and was so inspired by the flowers pouring out of the homes I passed – there were orange trumpet vines in full bloom, abundant wax flowers and delightful daisies.
I completed this painting, and our daughter – Elliot – was born days later.."
